10 Months Already, and Ready To Be On The Move!

This month he has started turning into a little boy.   He still loves eating, and has liked everything except yogurt.

He enjoys going on adventures with his parents.  We like to take him to the food park, and the Trinity Trails.

He has started cruising and is in to EVERYTHING!  He loves playing with balls and chasing them around.

This was the first time he was actually able to swing and hold his head up the correct way.

He has started climbing our bookshelves, TV stand, and anything else he can get his hands on.

He has the sweetest and most joyful personality.  Everything new is exciting to him, and he loves being with other people.

His other favorite toy is the roomba.  He likes to push, ride, and surf the roomba.

9 Months

Kingston has been very this month.  He is now pulling up and standing holding on to things.  He LOVES to dance.

His hair is getting long enough to where we can style it.  We love to dress him like a miniature Steven.

He is passionate about eating.  He loves meal time and will eat just about everything, except yogurt.  That is the one thing that after many attempts, he just doesn't like the texture.

He is getting so big.  He loves his stuffed animals.

He enjoys our afternoon jogs.  He talks and barks the entire time.  Our neighbor said she can hear us coming from blocks away.

He is fascinated by his friend Leighton.

He is just the sweetest little guy.  The doctor said he is in the 99th percentile for height.  He compared him to a 13 month old.

He has started mimicking us.

He is such a wild man.  We have had to remove his mobile because he pulls it down, or unscrews it from the crib.  I think he might have gotten that from his Uncle Miah.

8 Months Old!

I went back to work this month, which meant Kingston started going to a sitter.  My friend that I have spent the last four years teaching with has retired and keeps him.  There is another little girl there that has shown him the ropes.  So, needless to say he started crawling almost immediately.

8 Month Milestones:

*Crawling
*Says "Dada"
*Started staying with Ms. Susan

He loves playing with his dogs and has to work really hard to get their attention.  He was squealing at Nelson in these two pictures.

He loves to eat.

He is the spitting image of his father.

He was intently listening to his dad sing.

He is really getting big and beginning to fill out his car seat.

He has the sweetest personality.  He loves hanging out with his dad and definitely finds him to be the most interesting man.

My first day with students, and he was excited about hanging out with Ms. Susan.

He loves ESPN, he really doesn't mind when he gets licked in the face

He has started pulling up in his crib.

7th Months Old and Changing So Fast!!!

My precious boy turned 7 months old yesterday.  He has changed so much this month!

He has had many first's this month, he can:

~Sit up by himself

~Eats people food (bananas, avocados, sweet potatoes, apples, and squash)

~Babble "Mama"

~Almost crawling, he can go in reverse

~Met our dear friends' baby girl, "L"

~He has two teeth

We are so blessed because he has the sweetest and happiest personality.  He has stolen our hearts, and we love getting to see him grow into his own personality.

I didn't think it was possible for Kingston to look any more like his dad, but as every day passes he looks more and more like him.

This picture shows his new smile!

And another close up of his new smile.

We went on our first trip to South Padre Island for my family's annual girls trip (+ children).  This tradition began before any of us had children, and now has turned into a wonderful time for the girls and "cousins" to catch up.

He is very passionate about eating.  The first picture captures his desperation for food and need for instant gratification.  This is where we have had to start teaching him the word "no."  He would start screaming like a child who hadn't eaten in days before we would start feeding him.  It didn't take him long to figure out he wasn't going to get a bite until he quit screaming.  Though he doesn't scream often, he definitely has a strong set of vocal cords.  The second picture is him having just finished his favorite food so far, sweet potatoes.

He has discovered a fascination and curiosity about our dear dogs.  He loves it when they lick him all over his hands and face.  He is remarkably gentle with them, which is kind of funny because he can be a bit of a wild man.

He celebrated his first 4th of July (one of my favorite holidays).

He FINALLY seems somewhat interested in books.  His favorite is Barnyard Dance.

He absolutely LOVES people.  He finds his Pops (my dad) very interesting and never knows exactly what to expect when he is with him.  We have also gotten to spend a lot of time with my Grandad this summer, which Kingston really enjoys.  It makes me so happy to see my Grandad, who has been such a role model to my entire family, get to enjoy my sweet son.

This is what he does when he is ready to get up.  He makes a squawking noise, and then peaks out to watch for someone to come get him.

Lastly, he loved meeting Baby L.  We are so excited for our wonderful friends to finally have their beautiful little girl here.  We already love her so much, and cannot wait to start this new chapter in our lives together.
